How to be genuinely happy with yourself.

Hello my dear readers,
You may be wondering at this particular moment when last you were happy, I mean genuinely happy with yourself. Without waiting for a love text message, phone call or even someone to make you laugh. There’s this saying movie producers use a lot, ‘you complete me’ I believe that saying is wrong. Someone cannot complete you, you complete you. You have been completed, only you need more confidence to truly believe it. Why wait for someone to make you happy? Why believe they can do a better job than you? You control you! You know what you want, you know what you like and you alone know exactly how to make you happy. You are the key to your own happiness!

There are a few tips I’d like to share with someone today.

Forgive yourself!
For whatever it is that you have done to yourself and to others, forgive yourself and let it go. Holding on to it won’t change anything,it will only continue to eat you up. Free yourself of any negativity and see changes arise.

Believe you are complete.
The reason why most of us don’t believe that we’re complete is because we still hold on to the concept or idea that someone else is meant to make us truly happy. That’s a lot of pressure to put on someone else. How sure are you that they are even happy? You can’t give what you don’t have and even if they’re happy, they don’t have the power to make you happy. You do!

Get to know yourself.
At what point in your life do you feel happy? When you listen to music? When you are alone? When you’re watching your favorite show on tv? When you read? Going for shopping? How do you feel when you’re doing any of these things?  You’re most confident when you love your body. This is good confidence builder. If you don’t love the way you look, work on it, if you do, use it as a tool to step up your confidence. Carry yourself in a completely different way that will attract confident people to you.

Look at yourself.
Take a look and see how amazing you truly are! Say positive things to yourself, stand in front of a mirror and just appreciate you. You don’t need anybody to tell you how beautiful you are or amazing you are because you already know. You can be happy with yourself even if there are things you would like to change. I have always loved to sing but I just can’t put the notes right and we have people who do that excellently well but would give everything to know how to dance.( I am a fantastic dancer by the way)
What is your talent? What are you good at? What do you want to improve at? What would you like to do that you yet to do? What skills have you developed?  These are questions we easily ask other people but when you ask ourselves,we find it difficult to answer. So take your time and ask yourself one of these questions.

I have noticed that people go out of their way to make themselves happy even if the situation doesn’t warrant it. I am still trying to make myself a better and happier version of what I see everyday. I believe we all can do it.
