Man Kills Wife, His Kids And Then Himself In A Murder Suicide.

Phoukeo Dej,Oudom, 35, from las vegas, was seen running and screaming for help as her estranged husband chase her down with a gun in his hand from their home to a two store parking lots , authorities said.

Records show that Dej,Oudom, filed for divorce in May 25 from her husband, Jason Hagan Dej -oudom, after 16  years in marriage. They were married in July 2000 in columbus,Ohio.

The document asked the court to consider domestic violence when considering custody of the kids but didn’t provide details. it also noted the involvement of clark county child protective services.

On june 22, no one appeared for the divorce case.

On wednesday night,a witness said he spotted Dej-oudom waving her hands and screaming for help near her home and the driver picked her up in order to help but her estranged husband chased them to the CVS drug store two blocks away, where he cut off the driver and dragged his wife into his car at gunpoint.

She managed to escape him and started running again. witnesses confirmed her husband chased her down again in his car towards a walgreens store about half a mile away. Witnesses said they heard gunshots fired four times. One of the witnesses ran to the scene in order to help the woman but she was already dead with atleast one gunshot to the head.

Her husband, Jason Hagan Dej-oudom, fled the scene and ran back to his apartment. A relative called police 30minutes later saying Jason was suicidal.

SWAT team arrived at the department and found Jason and the bodies of his three children, ages 9-15 in a bedroom.

After he gunned down his wife, he killed their children in their apartment before shooting himself, police said. Homicide detective are on the case to know what drove him to kill his family.

Police LT.Dan McGrath said:

it’s really hard to understand how this could happen, how somebody could do that to children.

The youngest among the children, age 9, died of a gunshot wound to the head.
